Lemon Verbena Hot Toddy
Lemon Verbena is one of my favorite herbs but I see it more often in candles + soaps than I do food. When Runamok launched Lemon Verbena Honey, I couldn't wait to get a taste. It brings gentle lemon-y flavor without introducing any acid or sour notes.
Sore throat or cold day, this drink is the cure.
Makes one serving
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1.5 oz Whiskey
- 3 teaspoon Runamok Lemon Verbena Honey
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
Directions:
- In a large glass, arrange your lemon slices, cinnamon stick, and cloves.
- Drizzle honey into glass, then top with hot water.
- Add whiskey, swirl to combine + enjoy!
